Thank you Barbara, Yes, This was painted en plein air in Greenpoint. I had just been splashed by a huge wave and had given up painting to chat to a friend when the mist rolled in again and this was my view of the lighthouse. The buildings behind it almost obliterated. The old and the new. I quickly unpacked and started painting all over again!!!

It's wonderful. You certainly captured the scene. I used to love listening to the fog horn on misty nights.
