Preening Ducks

I have been so sick, Bronchitis, and really not in a creative mood at all! I did play around with my water colours a bit though and here is the result. They were photographed at Kirstenbosch on exhibition day.

Hi Carol, sorry to hear you have not been well, hope you are feeling better soon. The worst of being ill is the loss of creativity. Glad to see you are painting again, your subtle use of colour is very appealing. Love Di x

The Courtyard

The Courtyard Hotel was the venue for our painting out in the open for a while. The painting of Deveils Peak was painted at the same location. I need more practice with buildings! We are painting in the Company Gardens at the moment and I am getting lots of practice in. Strange how the window is not centred in this building, but that is the way it is.
