Di, thank you ...Liz, thanks for that, I needed it!

Di, thank you for your lovely comments. Funnily enough life drawing and painting is my first love. I am really battling to get to grips with landscape whereas I find it much easier to capture a look on a face. Can't understand why either.Carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12638903231893517043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4086157888734342760.post-27963710554557693832009-10-15T06:56:42.224+02:002009-10-15T06:56:42.224+02:00I know how you feel, Carol, life becomes very comp...I know how you feel, Carol, life becomes very complicated and there is not enough time in the day.

These are all sensitive drawings and I really like the 10 minute one. You mention the creativity slipping away when faced with the model. I always get this reaction when faced with a nude model - I am not talking about prudishness - it is just that I dont see many naked people during my normal day and so they are not in my normal frame of reference. If I was still nursing I would probably feel quite different!
I love to paint what is familiar and meaningful to me and so find life drawing quite a "left brain" activity.Diannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01013538024712245709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4086157888734342760.post-89662831937051579062009-10-13T15:30:51.721+02:002009-10-13T15:30:51.721+02:00Don't stay away so long - your work is too goo...Don't stay away so long - your work is too good not to show it off!Art with Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03433688529703445847noreply@blogger.com
